Over the next few weeks our children will be involved in Liturgies which lead into Easter. We are entering the most Holy time of the Catholic calendar. HOLY WEEK is the marking of the most significant events which occurred leading up to and including Christs' death and resurrection.
Some of our Kahikatea children will lead/mine/read at the Stations of the Cross.
  • Stations of the Cross. Thursday 6th April. 9am St Mary’s Church.
  • Palm Procession. Friday 7 April. School Grounds 10am. Children to wear 'Jesus' style clothes! for the procession only.
  • Washing of the Feet. Thursday 13th April. 10am School Hall.

Please also take advantage of the Church Services during Easter and take your children to services at St Mary’s or St Michael’s. Easter is one of most sacred events on our Catholic calendar.
REMINDER!! Be vigilant as we have had a case of head lice. If noticed, please treat as to be treated saves everyone else from getting head lice. 

In the last week of this term we have scheduled three-way conferences with you, your child and their teacher. These will take place between 3.15pm and 6.15pm on Monday 10th April and Tuesday 11th April. We will advise you when bookings are open.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC?
For those parents (and grandparents) who may be interested in becoming Catholic, during the month of May we will begin the Inquiry Period for the RCIA.This is the best time of year to join the RCIA which gives those who start a full year of formation in preparation to enter the Church next Easter. You are invited to come and learn about the Catholic Faith. This will run weekly on Thursday nights commencing Thursday 11th May 2017 for four weeks until 1st June at 7.00 pm at StMary's, corner of Seddon and Ranolf Street.
